Genetic Engineering is the process where people (scientists) change genes and insert them into other organisms to create the desired genetic material (DNA) for that organism. This can be used in many different cells, such as putting correct DNA into diabetic cells, and making them produce insulin, a product needed to digest sugars and carbs. It can also be used to make a certain plant resistant to a certain herbicide. Many people will ask, Is this right? We have an assignment for you. Follow the link to the project, which also has a list of pro's and con's to genetic engineering. PROJECT COMING SOON! HOPE TO HAVE IT UP BY SATURDAY.
